WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - With the start of the MLB Playoffs just around the corner, the Washington Redskins back in season, and Congress back in session as of Monday, traffic in the region could reach a fever pitch in the coming weeks.
Last week, children returned to school. This week, Congress returned to work. Two weeks from now the Redskins host the Cincinnati Bengals at Fed Ex Field. Luckily, the Nationals will be in Atlanta that day, but more traffic is coming if they make the playoffs.
Whether you’ve already seen it for yourself or you are bracing for the storm, daily commuters in D.C. should get used to seeing a sea of headlights this fall.
Just remember to keep an eye on our Traffic Page, where we’re keeping an eye on the roads for you. Take a live look-in on traffic at an intersection near you. See for yourself!
