DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (CBSDC) - Police in Prince George’s County are looking for a suspect wanted in two separate bank robberies.
Prince George’s County police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect wanted in two bank robberies that occurred within two weeks of each other.
The first incident occurred on Aug. 22 when the suspect entered the M&T Bank located in the 6300 block of Kirby Road in Clinton at 12:35 p.m. The unidentified man approached the teller’s window, implied to the teller he was strapped with a bomb and demanded money. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.
The most recent robbery took place Thurs, Sept. 6 at 1:20 p.m. when the same suspect entered a Wells Fargo Bank located in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights. In similar fashion, the suspect walked up to the teller’s window, implied he had a weapon and demanded. This teller complied as well, giving him an undisclosed amount of money.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to an arrest and indictment of the robbery suspect.
