UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (CBSDC) - The Prince George’s County Fair in Upper Marlboro opens to the public Thursday evening and will run throughout the weekend.
The annual event runs from Thurs., Sept. 6 through Sun., Sept. 9 and is located at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center and Show Place Arena at 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Marlboro, near the intersection of Route 4 and Route 301. Tickets are free for children ages five and under and cost $6 for ages twelve and up. Gates open at 4 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors can expect attractions available for all ages, ranging from magic shows to dance exhibitions, to pig and duck races. They can see work from chainsaw artists and balloon artists as well.
