UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — A local coach — already arrested on a warrant from New York — has been accused of fondling a teenage figure skater.

A lawsuit filed in July in Prince George’s County alleges Genrikh Sretenski kissed the girl and touched her breasts in July 2011 in a hotel room. It also claims he sent her more than 500 text messages. The lawsuit, filed by the girl’s father for $5 million, says she ended her skating career because of what happened.

The Associated Press does not identify alleged victims of sexual assault and is not naming the girl’s father to protect her identity.

Sretenski was arrested Tuesday in Howard County on a warrant from New York. Authorities won’t talk about the case, but the coach’s attorney says he is innocent.

Sretenski, who was born in Moscow, competed across Europe in the 1980s. He and ice dancing partner Natalia Annenko placed fourth at the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary.
