ARLINGTON, Va. (CBSDC) - Police are investigating the discovery of a suspected meth lab in an Arlington apartment building after being called to settle a simple dispute.
Arlington County police are investigating a suspected meth lab in the 800 block of North Monroe Street after being dispatched to the area over a dispute. When officers arrived to the residence where the dispute took place, they noticed items around the apartment that were consistent with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
Residents of 3 floors in the apartment complex were evacuated for their safety while HAZMAT and Bomb Squad units examined the suspected apartment.
Officers successfully obtained a search warrant and then returned to the residence in question to arrest William Hudgens (photo left), 31, and Leonard Fischer (photo right), 44, both of Arlington. The two men are charged with attempted manufacturing of methamphetamine.
It is unclear whether either or both of the men lived in the residence where the lab was found.
