FAIRFAX, Va. (CBSDC) - A driver in Fairfax hit a parked police cruiser then fled the scene.

Police in the City of Fairfax say a driver struck a police cruiser parked on Fairfax Boulevard on Thursday at 9:14 p.m., then drove away without leaving any information.

Witnesses of the hit-and-run gave police a description of the vehicle that struck that the officer’s vehicle. She was later identified as 24-year-old Meredyth M. Lowe of Falls Church.

Lowe met with a police supervisor at police headquarters, according to Nine News Now, where she was issued a summons for hit-and-run to unattended property.
