GAITHERSBURG, Md. (CBSDC) - A teenage girlis fighting for her life after being struck by a car while riding her bike in Gaithersburg.

The 15-year-old girl was struck in Montgomery Village passing through the intersection of Route 124 and Airpark Road around 6:54 a.m. Thursday.

She was transported to Suburban Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The roads were blocked for almost four hours by police while reconstruction teams were on the scene.
