LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) - A moment of silence will be held before the Washington Redskins next preseason game in honor of the fallen police officer killed in the crash on I-95.
Officer Adrian Morris, 23, of Prince George’s County was killed Monday in a crash on I-95 while in pursuit of a vehicle involved in a theft. The officer was thrown from his cruiser when he suddenly veered from the road just past the Powder Mill Road exit on I-95.
The Redskins say when they play the Indianapolis Colts at FedEx Field on Saturday they will hold a moment of silence for the fallen officer before kickoff.
Flags in Maryland are also flying at half-staff in honor of Morris.
