ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins held their final practice before for their first home game of the preseason. On Saturday, Robert Griffin III and the Redskins will face Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at FedEx Field.

Beyond the enticing quarterback matchup, the game will serve as the final tune up for the majority of players already safe on the 53-man roster.

Tim Hightower (ACL) is likely to make his preseason debut Saturday as long as there is are setbacks with his surgically repaired knee according to head coach Mike Shanahan.

“This is huge,”  Hightower said. “I don’t even know what to say. I’m sure it will hit me Saturday when I get on that field, a little bit of nerves and all that stuff. But, it’s definitely a blessing. I’ve been working for this a long time so it’s a huge step for me.”

Hightower, who re-signed with the Redskins this offseason, added that he isn’t viewing the contest as just a preseason game. For him, the exhibition is ‘special.’

Roy Helu (Achilles soreness) & Evan Royster (sore knee) won’t be playing Saturday.  London Fletcher (undisclosed injury) & Chris Chester (ankle) will play Saturday.
