The Redskins held practice this afternoon and Tim Hightower was absent to attend his grandfather’s funeral.

Darrel Young (hamstring) participated in practice, but is unlikely to play Saturday against the Colts.  Anthony Armstrong (ac joint) took off his yellow (no contact) jersey and will play against the Colts Saturday.  Chris Chester (ankle) participated fully in practice and is likely to play Saturday.  Roy Helu (sore Achilles) said he did warm-ups today, but isn’t sure if he can play on Saturday.

Brian Orakpo (left pectoral) went through drills and isn’t ready to fully practice yet.  Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan called it a “good sign”.  Brandon Meriweather’s “knee is just a little bit swollen, nothing very serious, but hopefully he’ll be able to practice tomorrow or at least go through some drill work” according to Shanahan.
