WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. United have acquired Colombian forward Lionard Pajoy and an international roster spot from the Philadelphia Union for midfielder Danny Cruz.
United said Thursday that Pajoy will be available for selection at United’s match Sunday against Philadelphia at RFK Stadium.
Pajoy has five goals and two assists this season in 20 games with the Union, his first MLS team after a long career with several clubs in his Colombia.
Cruz was acquired by United from the Houston Dynamo for a partial allocation in January. He has a goal and three assists in 16 MLS matches this season.
