LINTHICUM, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport will close one of its primary runways for 60 days for a reconstruction project.
Runway 10-28 will be closed starting Monday. The runway had been closed periodically throughout the summer to prepare for the planned 60-day closure.
Runway 15R-33L, BWI Marshall’s other major commercial runway, will stay open during work on Runway 10-28. Local residents might notice a change in flight patterns.
The airport served an average of 61,347 last year.
