FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (CBSDC) - Police in Prince George’s County have identified the body found in a Fort Washington creek earlier this month.
A decomposed body that was found in a creek near the 12200 block of Braemer Circle in Fort Washington has been identified as 22-year-old Shavon Phillips.
Phillips was a mother of two and has been missing since July 30. She was last seen on a surveillance camera dropping her child off at a daycare center.
Prince George’s County police are considering this a homicide, but no cause of death has been determined.
