ARLINGTON, Va. (CBSDC) - Cotton candy and funnel cake wasn’t the only highlight of the Arlington County Fair this weekend. One group of senior citizens danced to their youth in front of an audience, in an organized flash mob display.
The popular Arlington blog ARLNow reported that a large group of senior citizens that was organized by the Arlington Department of Parks and Recration’s Office of Senior Adult Programs, strutted their stuff in front of a cheering group of fans at the fair Friday evening.
Well rehearsed, the senior citizens churned out a choreographed dance rendition to the pumping speakers of the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”. The dance piece was put together by dance leader and Ms. Senior Virginia 2012, Kathy Fanelli.
