ORCHARD PARK, NY (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins made a few changes to their offensive lineup for Thursday’s preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills due to injuries, none of which were particularly surprising.

Leonard Hankerson will start opposite Pierre Garçon at wide receiver, taking the place of Santana Moss.

Maurice Hurt will handle left guard duties for the recovering Kory Lichtensteiger.

Rookie Adam Gettis will start in place of Chris Chester, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this week at practice.

Tyler Polumbus will start in place of Jammal Brown at right tackle.

Chris Cooley will get the nod at fullback in place of Darrel Young.

Evan Royster will get the start at running back with Tim Hightower not yet ready to play with as he continues to recover from last season’s knee injury.

There were no defensive lineup changes to report.
