TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (CBSDC) - According to police, a man was shot to death in Temple Hills early Monday morning because another man wanted his shoes.
Nine News Now reports that the incident occurred in the 5000 block of Temple Hills Road shortly after midnight. According to Prince George’s County police, four men were walking along Temple Hills Road near Old Temple Hills Road when they were approached by a man who attempted to rob them. Police say the man was specifically after one of the four men’s shoes.
The suspect reportedly pulled out a gun and fatally shot the man he was trying to rob after a fight broke out between he and the men he was attempting to rob.
The suspect fled following the shooting, but police have arrested a man fitting the suspect’s description.
The identity of the man shot is still uncertain.
