WASHINGTON (AP) — There’s a new application to help visitors navigate the massive collection of the Smithsonian’s 15 Washington museums and the National Zoo.
The app, created by the editors of Smithsonian magazine, was released earlier this week. It includes 10 customized tours, a list of must-see exhibitions, floor plans and a Google map of the National Mall. The app also lets users take photos of themselves wearing the Hope Diamond, walking a stegosaurus and hanging out with the zoo’s orangutan.
The app is available for download at the Apple Store and costs 99 cents. It will be updated frequently to ensure users have the most up-to-date information while visiting.
