Washington Nationals Reinstate Chad Tracy, Option Corey Brown To Syracuse

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — The Washington Nationals reinstated infielder Chad Tracy from the disabled list Tuesday and optioned outfielder Corey Brown to Triple-A Syracuse.

Tracy, who was out with a groin injury, is hitting .265 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 32 games.

Brown was hitting .188 in nine games.

Washington opens a three-game series at home against the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.
