SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (CBSDC) — Prince George’s County Police are trying to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred at a Shell Gas Station in Seat Pleasant.

The gas station was robbed around 11:15 p.m. on July 29 at the Shell station located in the 6300 block of Central Ave. The suspect tried to exchange an item he purchased earlier and became irate when he learned he wouldn’t be able to do so. The man kicked the door in to the cashier’s room and assaulted the attendant. While assaulting the clerk he repeatedly demanded a replacement item.

The man eventually took the property and fled the scene.
