ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins held their fourth practice of training camp and Robert Griffin III spoke to the media for the first time since since training camp has started and second time in less than a week and had a lot of injury news.

Kory Lichtensteiger, Tanard Jackson, Jonathan Goff & Jammal Brown all didn’t practice today.

Lichtensteiger had some soreness in his knee and had an MRI which showed some loose particles.  He then had his knee scoped and Shanahan is hopeful he’ll be back for the last preseason game or week one.  There was no injury to his acl or mcl.  Maurice Hurt was filling in for Lichtensteiger today at left guard on the first team.

Jackson has been cleared to practice and is off the PUP list, but due to the CBA, he has to wait three days, one day for conditioning and two days without pads, before he can fully practice with the team. Reserve linebacker Jonathan Goff tore his ACL on Saturday and will miss the rest of the season.  Jammal Brown will get his MRI tomorrow in New York and they’ll know more then.  Tyler Polumbus continues to fill in for Brown at right tackle with the first team.

Willie Smith, Josh Morgan & Darrel Young all got a little banged up during practice.  Smith twisted his knee and will have an MRI.  Morgan had a cramp.  Young had a hamstring and Shanahan says he hopes it’s not too long.

They also signed journeyman offensive lineman Jordan Black and he’ll have to wait three days as well before he can practice.
