ARLINGTON, Va. (CBSDC) — Arlington County Police have released video of two suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a check cashing store.
Police say a woman arrived to open the store, located in the 4700 block of Columbia Pike, around 9 a.m. on July 25 when two armed robbers approached her from behind. One of the suspects pulled a gun on the woman while the other brandished a knife.
The video shows one suspect forcing the woman at knife-point through the store and to a pair of safes located in the rear. The gunman followed behind.
The woman complied in their demands and the robbers fled the store with roughly $37,600 in cash.
Police describe the suspects as Hispanic males between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with medium builds.
