The Redskins held their third practice of training camp and this time they wore shoulder pads to go along with helmets in the 90-plus degree weather.
Kory Lichtensteiger took the afternoon practice off, but it was scheduled. Rookie Josh LeRibeus filled in for him at left guard. Linebacker Jonathan Goff, who missed all of last season with a right knee injury, re-injured the same knee and will be getting an MRI to see the seriousness of it. Goff did manage to walk off under his own power. Jammal Brown (hip) is still scheduled to meet with his doctor in New York on Tuesday and get an MRI then to see how serious his hip injury is after he re-injured it on Wednesday.
The highlight of the afternoon practice, which was the most fan attended practice so far, was when rookie Samuel Kirkland (Kent State) made a one-handed catch with his left hand while going to the ground down the right sideline. Also, Brandon Banks had a nice diving catch as well.
