ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins held their second training camp practice on a cool 88-degree afternoon, compared to the previous day when temperatures neared the triple-digit mark.
Fans again turned out in mass to see Robert Griffin III, who looked much sharper than his camp debut.
The three guys on the PUP list, Jammal Brown (hip), Tanard Jackson (calf) and Tristan Davis (knee), did npt practice once again.
Head coach Mike Shanahan said it’s likely Jackson will return on Monday. Davis was running sprints during practice, but Brown might be the the furthest away to returning and could become a concern for the Redskins.
The coach said Brown wants to see his own doctor and will get an MRI on Tuesday, then they’ll know more. With Brown unable to practice, Tyler Polumbus has been taking the first team reps at right tackle.
