ABERDEEN, Md. (CBSDC) — Authorities have release photographs of the suspect wanted for questioning in connection with the kidnapping of Vi Ripken, mother to Baltimore Orioles legend Cal Ripken.

The 74-year-old was taken from her Aberdeen, Md. home on July 24. The suspect abducted Ripken in her own 1998 Silver Lincoln Town car, driving through Harford and Baltimore County before returning her to her home on July 25.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male, roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds with short brown hair and glasses.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Aberdeen Police at 410-836-5432. A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
