NEWARK, N.J. (CBSDC) – Did Newark’s mayor ruin the ending for the new Batman movie?

When responding to a question on Twitter regarding what scenes from “The Dark Knight Rises” were shot in Newark, N.J.,  Mayor Cory Booker seems to reveal part of the ending of the movie.

“Many. In end when Batman statue is revealed – that’s Nwk (sic) city hall,” Booker said.

Several people were not amused Booker spoiled the ending of the movie.

“Thanks a lot, Mayor Spoilers!” one tweet said. Another one read: “Uh, wanna warn us before giving out SPOILERS??? Geez, that’s the best part of the movie. Turn in your nerd card.”

“The Dark Knight Rises” raked in nearly $161 million its opening weekend.
