OAKTON, Va. (CBSDC) — Fairfax County Police are investigating what they believe was a murder-suicide in Oakton Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred in the 3000 block of Trevor House Drive around 8 p.m.

One person was found deceased in the home. A second person was transported to the hospital for treatment where they later died.

Both victims were adults according to police.
