WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) – Track work on the Red Line this weekend will require Metro rail riders to transfer to buses between the Grosvenor and Friendship Heights stations.
The Medical Center and Bethesda Metro stations will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Customers traveling through the area should add 30 minutes to their travel time according to the transit agency.
Along the Orange Line, trains will single track between East Falls Church and West Falls Church, as well as between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly.
Blue Line trains will be single tracking between Van Dorn Street and Franconia-Springfield.
Green Line trains will single-track between Fort Totten and Prince George’s Plaza.
