Just hours after the ink dried on Robert Griffin III’s contract, the Washington Redskins and third-round pick Josh LeRibeus put pen to paper on his inaugural NFL contract.
A few hours later he joined 106.7 The Fan’s LaVar Arrington and Chad Dukes to talk about officially joining the team.
He was the final draft pick to sign his contract with the team. According to LeRibeus’ agent, the youngster will be on the field Thursday morning for the Redskins’ fourth day of rookie camp.
Griffin rejoined his teammates today after missing the first two days of camp.
LeReibus, 6-foot-2 and 312 pounds, was selected with the 71st overall pick in this year’s draft out of Southern Methodist.
The 23-year-old is a native of Richardson, Texas.
Feels pretty damn good to officially be a Redskin. #HTTR—
