WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — The severe weather that ripped through the Washington region left a trail of downed trees and power lines in its wake.
In the District, a large tree fell on two homes on Arcadia Place between Barnaby St. and Western Ave.

Another tree fell on a home near the intersection of South Dakota Ave. and Perry Street in Northeast. There were no reports of injuries at that location.
In addition, the 900 block of Rhode Island Ave. was closed due to flooding conditions for a time.
Portions of Sherman Ave. also experienced flooding due to storm water runoff from cross streets.
