PALMER PARK, Md. (CBSDC) — Prince George’s County police officers Christopher Perry and Michael Rowe were charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, second degree and misconduct on Thursday.
The charges, which were filed by the Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office, stem from an alleged Memorial Day weekend incident. Perry and Rowe were suspended within 24 hours of the allegations, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Rowe is a five-year veteran of the force while Perry has been with the department for four years.
A suspension hearing is scheduled for July 2 at which point their pay status will be determined.
