Police Need Help Identifying Man Struck By Bus In Wheaton

WHEATON, Md. (CBSDC) — Police are trying to identify a man who was struck by a Montgomery County Ride On bus early Thursday morning.
The man did not have any identification on him at the time he was struck.
The incident occurred around 5:55 a.m. on Veirs Mill Road near Gridley Road in Wheaton. Authorities say the man stepped into the roadway in front of the bus and was struck by it as it traveled westbound on Veirs Mill Road.
The victim is described as a Hispanic male with black hair, in his 20’s. He is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and weighs between 170 and 185 pounds. He was wearing blue and white plaid shorts, tan work boots and a gray shirt. In addition, he was also carrying a blue Hawaiian-style shirt.
There are no missing persons descriptions fitting the individual.
The man was taken to Suburban Hospital with critical, but non-life-threatening injuries.
