FALLS CHURCH, Va. (CBSDC) - Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s continued assistance in identifying and locating the suspect who murdered a 19-year-old woman two years ago.
Vanessa V. Pham of Falls Church was found dead in a 2008 two-door Toyota on June 27, 2010 after it had crashed into a ditch of the south side of Arlington Boulevard. The car was found after officers responded to a call around 3:34 p.m. where Pham was found dead with trauma to her upper body that was not consistent with the crash.
Detectives learned that Pham had visited a business in the Fairfax Plaza Shopping Center in the 2900 block of Gallows Road around 3 p.m. where she did not appear to be in distress.
Video Surveillance shows Pham’s car in the shopping center, images that were captured shortly before police responded to the crash.
They are asking the public to pay particular attention to the portion of the video when Pham’s car is attempting to exit the parking lot. There are several vehicles behind her car and others on Gallows Road attempting to enter the parking lot.
Anyone who may have seen Vanessa Pham or her vehicle around the shopping center that day or anyone who has information about her murder is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail here or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637).
