ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC) — A tow truck driver is recovering from injuries sustained when his tow truck rolled over him Monday afternoon in Rockville.

The accident occurred on Old Dover Rd. near Brookville Auto Parts shortly before 1 p.m.

Montgomery County Police say the accident happened after the man parked the truck on a hill and exited the vehicle to make adjustments to it. The truck shifted out of gear and rolled over him, trapping him underneath.

He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
