Man Trapped After Tree Falls On Home In Northeast

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A man was trapped inside of his home after a storm caused a tree to fall on his home in the District Friday night.

A large tree fell onto the home in the 3900 block of South Dakota Ave. shortly after 8 p.m.

The Washington Post reports the man became trapped due to “pack rat conditions” inside the home.

In addition to striking the home, the tree also blocked two right lines of South Dakota Ave. between 31st St. and Douglas St.
