VIENNA, Va. (CBSDC) — Noah Rucker, a former swim coach at James Madison High School in Vienna, was arrested and charged with having inappropriate sexual conduct with a minor in 2001.

Police say Rucker, who was 29 at the time, and a female student, who was 17 years old at the time, engaged in the relationship while he was a swim coach at the school.

The victim told police of the inappropriate sexual contact on Wednesday, 11 years after the incident occurred.

The suspect, now 39, was charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a minor while in a custodial and/or supervisory position.

Rucker, who resides in the 9100 block of Big Springs Loop in Bristow, was arrested on Friday.

He formerly coached at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria according to an online biography. Police say he currently coaches swimmers throughout the region.
