Comedian Pauly Shore came in studio with the Junkies on Wednesday to talk to the guys about his upcoming show, “Pauly-tics”, that will be performed at the 9:30 Club in D.C on June 30th. The show will be filmed and is scheduled to air on Showtime in the fall.

Pauly showed up in one of his Pauly-tics t-shirts ready to have a few laughs Wednesday morning. He talked about his upcoming show and how he was in search for people that resembled Osama Bin Laden, Kim Jung Il, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and political figures around the world. Pauly caught a glimpse of Ajay from the afternoon show and told him he could impersonate Ahmadinejad for his show. Afterwards, the guys talked to Pauly about how he grew up in Beverly Hills and how his mother was the founder of The Comedy Store.

Another topic that came up was all the new DJs that are rising to the top in the music industry. Pauly talked about how he was recently in LA and saw DeadMau5 performing for a sold out crowd at a popular club. The guys were completely unaware of who DeadMau5 was and were dumbfounded that they were charging people around 100 dollars to get into the club. The talk about house music could only lead to the topic of Pauly’s drug use in his earlier years. He openly admitted and brought up the fact himself that he did a lot of drugs in his 20′s. According to Pauly, young people’s drug of choice these days is something that is known as Molly.

Pauly took a few pictures after the show and then headed over to Georgetown to grab lunch with former RNC chairman, Michael Steele. He’s excited about his upcoming performance in D.C and can’t wait for it to air on Showtime in the fall.
