WHEATON, Md. (AP) — The Montgomery County police department is offering children a chance to learn life skills next week.
The department is holding its fifth annual police adventure camp from Monday through Friday at Veirs Mill Local Park in Wheaton.
Children entering fourth, fifth and sixth grades will learn about team work, conflict resolution and avoiding peer pressure.
Each day of camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
