CHANTILLY, Va. (CBSDC) — Parents of students at South County High School were sent a memo with a brief statement regarding the arrest of Jeffrey Reagan.
Reagan, a former football coach at the school, was arrested after meeting an illegal steroid supplier on Tuesday. Fairfax County Police charged him with possession with intent to distribute steroids and conspiracy to distribute steroids.
Statement sent to South County Parents:
We have been made aware that Jeffrey Reagan, a former coach with our athletic program, was recently arrested by Fairfax County Police Department narcotics detectives. Mr. Reagan is currently employed by FCPS as a teacher at another school site. He was an experienced coach in the area and had completed all of the requirements established by Fairfax County Public Schools to be employed as a coach. Mr. Reagan previously served as an assistant football and assistant track coach at South County Secondary School (SCSS) from 2009-11. Mr. Reagan did not coach at our school during the 2011-12 school year and is no longer associated with SCSS.
