WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities say a hit-and-run accident in northeast Washington has left a woman and two children with serious injuries.
D.C. police say the woman was driving a vehicle with two children on Kenilworth Avenue when she collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Eastern Avenue about 5 p.m. Wednesday. All three people in the first vehicle, including an infant, were taken to a hospital.
Police say the driver of the second vehicle got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
