WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is scheduled to take part in a panel on income inequality.

O’Malley, a Democrat, is set to appear on the panel Friday with Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz.

Stiglitz has written a book on the subject titled “The Price of Inequality: How Today’s Divided Society Endangers Our Future.”

The panel is scheduled to take place at the Center for American Progress in Washington.
