FAIRFAX CITY, Va. (CBSDC/AP) — Authorities say 7-year-old Victoria Williams has died from injuries suffered in a Fairfax City crash that killed her mother and sister.
Fairfax City police said Thursday that the young Williams of Cross Junction, Va., died at Inova Fairfax Hospital. The girl’s mother, Dejon L’Air Williams, and her 5-year-old sister, Faith Williams, died shortly after the accident on Lee Highway about 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say Dejon Williams was speeding in her Honda Civic when she sideswiped a vehicle, struck a median and hit a minivan.
The 38-year-old driver of the minivan, Hamidullah Nabizada of Woodbridge, remains in critical condition at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
