Falls Church Bank Robbery Suspect Flees Scene Before He Could Get Cash

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (CBSDC) — Police in Fairfax County are investigating an attempted bank robbery that occurred Tuesday in Falls Church.

Shortly after 3 p.m. a man entered the Capital One Bank located at 6367 Seven Corner Center and passed a note to a teller demanding money. However, the suspect fled the scene before the teller could comply with the request.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as Hispanic, around 19 or 20 years old and roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, tan shorts and black shoes at the time of the attempted robbery.
