ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Authorities say they are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman in downtown Annapolis over the weekend.

Police say the woman was walking alone in the 100 block of Duke of Gloucester Street when a man grabbed her, dragged her into a nearby alley and sexually assaulted her about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities say the woman was eventually able to fight off the man, who then fled.
