UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Prince George’s County are announcing charges against seven nightclubs accused of tax, alcohol and licensing violations.
The indictments against the clubs are scheduled to be announced Tuesday by State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks, county Police Chief Mark Magaw and state comptroller Peter Franchot.
Officials say the clubs owe more than $700,000 to the state.
The officials are announcing the charges at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the county courthouse in Upper Marlboro.
