Shanahan Gets Blindsided As Redskins Conclude Day One Of OTA’s

By Sky Kerstein

The Redskins held their first OTA today and they also got to use their new bubble for first time due to the rain outside.  DeAngelo Hall was the only Redskins player not to attend, it isn’t mandatory and the players just wore helmets.

There were no injuries, although there was a scary moment when Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan was facing the other direction and got ran over by a Redskins defensive back on a passing pattern over the middle.  He was down for a few minutes, but did get up and was a little “woozy” so he didn’t talk to the media today.  He did though stay on the field for the rest of practice.
