GREAT FALLS, Va. (CBSDC) — A school bus caught fire on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway near the American Legion Bridge.

Fire officials say there were students aboard the bus, but no one was seriously hurt. Some students were a little shaken up, but have already been moved on to another bus.

The fire caused extensive delays for rush hour commuters who began riding the breaks near Leesburg Pike.

There is no word yet as to what district the school bus was from.
