SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County police say they are investigating the deaths of a husband and wife in Silver Spring as a possible murder-suicide.
Capt. Paul Starks says a family member called police on Saturday night worried about a family member. Police say the bodies of the 49-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were found Sunday morning in an apartment in the 13600 block of Colgate Way.
Police say a suicide note was found, but authorities have not said if it was left by the husband or the wife. The couple has not been identified.
Starks says both bodies had signs of trauma.
