Water Main Break Causes Road Closures In Rosslyn, Does Not Affect Metro

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — An underground water main break in Rosslyn is causing some road closures, but has not affected a Metrorail station in the area.

Officials say two left lanes of Ft. Meyer Drive between 19th Street and N. Moore streets were closed early Friday morning. Other area roads that had been closed have now reopened.

Metro says access to the Rosslyn Metrorail station may be impacted by the break, but the rail service is operating normally.

The water main break occurred at a construction site overnight.
