WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Donnie Bookhardt and Crystal Huggins have been sentenced in two robberies in the District involving men the suspects knew.
The 52-year-old Bookhardt had pleaded guilty to robbery and numerous other offenses. He was sentenced on May 2 to more than 19 years in prison.
The 32-year-old Huggins pleaded guilty to conspiracy and burglary and was sentenced to 15 years in prison on May 11.
According to the government’s evidence, Bookhardt and Huggins committed the crimes in April 2010 against two men Huggins was acquainted with. In both crimes, Huggins learned when the men would be home and robbed them with Bookhardt.
