BALTIMORE (CBSDC) — The second leg of the Triple Crown comes to Baltimore this weekend with the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes.

Enormous crowds are expected and Maryland authorities are encouraging racing fans and party-goers to use MTA’s Light Rail, Metro Subway or the local bus to Pimlico. Light rail is the best option due to construction work at some of the train crossings north of the Timonium station according to authorities.

Shuttle bus service from designated Light Rail and Metro stations to Pimlico will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will resume once the race is completed until around 7:30 p.m. Shuttle bus service is also available from Poly-Western High School at 1400 West Cold Spring Lane.
